Rio Colorado Air Derby  "Rivers to Ridges, Desert 'n' Bridges"

 "Rivers to Ridges, Desert 'n' Bridges" That would best describes the route of our air race! The race will be 245 nm and have 5 fly -bys. Download a copy of the Race Kit and complete your entry and return it to Tookie no later than March 14,  2011. You will receive your starting number and the derby route upon submission of the following: One legible copy of the Application for Entry, one legible copy of Certificate of Insurance, one legible copy of the Release Form, two legible copies of the Pilot Information Form and a check payable to the "RioColorado 99s" as follows: Airplane entry registration fee of $100.00 plus Pilot and Co-pilot registration fee of $75.00. Each additional passenger is $10.00 The Rio Colorado Air Derby is sponsored by the Rio Colorado chapter 99s and will raise funds for air scholarships, safety programs, and educational programs and projects in the tri-state area. The race is open to all pilots, with stock airplanes, no speed modifications. Sorry, no experimental aircraft due to insurance requirements, .
